Kim Banson Sabourin, MA, CCC-SLP – Director; Speech-Language Pathologist

Kim Sabourin has over 15 years of experience working with children and adults with communication disorders, and 10 years experience teaching and training graduate student clinicians in universities. She is currently an adjunct faculty member in the Communication Sciences Department at Temple University, and a clinical supervisor at the Fluency Specialty Clinic of Temple University’s Speech Language Hearing Center. She has taught graduate and undergraduate level courses in Clinical Management, Fluency and Voice Disorders, and Pediatric Dysphagia. She has received specialty training in Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT), and is experienced in treating a wide variety of communication and swallowing disorders.

Ms. Sabourin is a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, is in training to become a Board-Certified Fluency Specialist, and is licensed to practice in the State of Pennsylvania. In 2007, she was selected for inclusion in Who’s Who in Health Sciences Education.

Ms. Sabourin is also a trained SpeechEasy provider.

Alison Miller, OTR/L – Occupational Therapist

Alison Miller is an occupational therapist with over 15 years of experience in pediatrics. She has served a wide population of 0-18 year olds with varying diagnoses such as: Prematurity, Developmental Delay, Erb’s Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Cerebral Palsy, Visual Motor and Visual Perceptual Delays, Sensory Integration Dysfunction, hand injuries and burn/wound care. She has served on many multi-disciplinary evaluation teams and worked closely with pediatric neurodevelopmental specialists, neurologists, plastic and orthopedic surgeons. She is certified in pediatrics by the American Occupational Therapy Association, as well as being certified in Sensory Integration and infant massage.

Alison is completing a Master’s Degree in Child Development and has taught graduate level classes in feeding therapy as well as normal and abnormal development. She has research experience in the area of infant massage as it relates to overall physical and emotional development and has published articles on choosing the appropriate toys for developmental growth.

Emily Joy Goldberg, MA, CCC-SLP – Speech-Language Pathologist

Emily Joy Goldberg has a Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Temple University. She has experience working with a variety of disorders including vocal pathology, vocal abuse/misuse, aphasia, cognitive-linguistic deficits, dysphagia, articulation, language delays, and communication impairments related to autism spectrum disorders. She also has research experience studying language development in American children adopted from China, and is a classically-trained musician, with a Master’s Degree in Classical Vocal Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music.

Ms. Goldberg is a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and is licensed to practice in the State of Pennsylvania.
